Vote Yes on Proposition 30!
All public schools are facing challenges and the Prop. 30 will provide real solutions and funding that will go directly to where it's needed most - in the classroom.
California is again facing a potentially staggering budget deficit. Every year, we face more and more cuts to education--cuts that directly affect the money going into our classrooms and our kids.
California's 982 charter schools have been hit hard by these budget cuts. Not to mention that on average, charter schools receive even less funding than traditional public schools.
Prop. 30 is the only solution that will end the chronic budget cuts that have severely harmed our schools and provide increased funding and stability for California's historically volatile budget, putting schools and public safety first.
If this proposition doesn't pass, there will be an automatic trigger cut of $5 billion to education - $460 per student.
All public schools are facing challenges and the Prop. 30 will provide real solutions and funding that will go directly to where it's needed most--in the classroom.
